LOCATION OF THE ITALIAN LANGUAGE SCHOOL
Sprachcaffe Italian language school in Rome is just a few blocks away from the Vatican and St. Peters in a beautiful residential district on one of the most popular shopping streets. We are just across the street from Piazza del Popolo, Via del Corso, and Villa Borghese. You can reach all the attractions of the city by foot or public transportation. It is also only 5 minutes away from the next metro stop (“Ottaviano/San Pietro”) and many other bus stops.

ITALIAN COURSES
In our school in Rome we offer Italian courses for all levels from absolute beginner to advanced. On the first day, you will take a test and will be placed in the level most suitable for you.
The courses are held from Monday to Friday: educational material on loan will be given during class. There are no classes during holidays.
OUR TEACHERS: Our teachers are all native speakers, highly qualified and have an academic education. After the lessons, they are available to give advice and assistance on any problems with the language and to awnser questions about local cultural and sporting events. They may spend their free time with our guests and, of course, for students taking a business language course, they will provide special materials for class.
TEACHING METHOD: Our teaching method is based on the "principle of conversation" because the study of language should be aimed mainly at putting into practice the grammatical and lexical aspects of the language:
LESSONS: The class is based essentially on the principle of conversation. This is achieved through intensive training in structured role-play, guided dialogs, audio-listening and reading cultural, social, and political essays and articles related to the host country.
Certificate: At the end of the course each student will receive a certificate attesting to the number of lessons taken and the language level achieved.

ACCOMMODATION IN ROME
In Rome we offer three types of accommodation, you may choose the option that suits you best depending on your needs. With each of the three options you'll be able to get to know people, either with natives in the case of families, or with other students, so you can practice what was studied in class. HOST FAMILY
We offer lodging with host families carefully selected by the Sprachcaffe staff. Should you decide on this option, you will not only have the ability to practice your language skills outside of class, but you will learn first hand about the culture and the customs of locals.
We carefully select host families based on the following factors:
Within a 30 minutes walk or bus-ride from school
Others live two to three bus/metro stops away
Double rooms only if two students enroll together
Bedrooms with table or desk to do homework and a shared sitting room
