SPANISH SCHOOL IN MADRID
LOCATION: The School is located in a historic townhouse – a beautiful turn-of-the-century building. The main part of the school is on the top floor and offers and excellent view. From here you can watch the comings and goings of the Madrileños. Yet the area provides the necessary tranquility required for studying.
The school is just a few minutes away from de Porta Del Sol, the steps of the Royal Palace and the El Prado museum. Museums, theaters, cafes, restaurants, bars, shops and much more are all just a stone's throw away.

ACTIVITIES: We can organize excursions to the Reina Sofia Museum, the Thyssen Museum, the Planetarium, Segovia, Avila, Aranjuez, Sevilla, Cordoba, and Barcelona. Other activities are Flamenco lessons, seminar on Spanish songs, Don Quijote public reading, evening at the 'Toros' bull fight, theatre evening, and a disco evening.
SPANISH COURSES IN MADRID
In our school in Madrid we offer Spanish courses for all levels from absolute beginner to advanced. On the first day, you will take a test and will be placed in the level most suitable for you.
The courses are held from Monday to Friday: educational material on loan will be given during class. There are no classes during holidays.
OUR TEACHERS: Our teachers are all native speakers, highly qualified and have an academic education. After the lessons, they are available to give advice and assistance on any problems with the language and to awnser questions about local cultural and sporting events. They may spend their free time with our guests and, of course, for students taking a business language course, they will provide special materials for class.
TEACHING METHOD: Our teaching method is based on the "principle of conversation" because the study of language should be aimed mainly at putting into practice the grammatical and lexical aspects of the language:
LESSONS: The class is based essentially on the principle of conversation. This is achieved through intensive training in structured role-play, guided dialogs, audio-listening and reading cultural, social, and political essays and articles related to the host country.
CERTIFICATE: At the end of the course each student will receive a certificate attesting to the number of lessons taken and the language level achieved.

ACADEMIC LANGUAGE COURSE: The Academic Term / Exam Preparation Course at Sprachcaffe / Language PLUS is structured similar to the Standard Language Course, however the goals and objectives are structured for long term study. Thus it is ideal for students who which to attain a more in-depth and continuous study of the language and also for those interested in sitting for any of the major language exams, such as the PET, FCE, CAE, CPE, TOEFL, DELE, DELF, DALF, CILS and DSH. The examination fees are not included in the course price and students have to pay extra for materials.
Completing an Academic Term at Sprachcaffe / Language PLUS will help earn important qualifications and is perfect for those seeking the challenges and goals of meeting university entrance requirements.

SPRACHCAFFE MADRID - ACCOMODATION IN MADRID
In Madrid we offer three kinds of accomodation, you may choose whichever best meets your needs. In all the options you can relate to people, either with natives in the case of families, or with other students, so you can practice what has been studied in class.
HOST FAMILY IN MADRID
We also offer single rooms in our well-selected host families with a choice of breakfast or half board. Cleaning service once a week. Bed-linen is provided, students are requested to bring their own towels. Families are usually 15 - 35 minutes by public transport.
APARTMENT IN MADRID
In Madrid we offer shared, self-catering apartments, ideal for the budget-conscious student. Fully-equipped kitchen, bathroom and living room. Single or double rooms available. Basic cleaning once a week, students are asked to take care of the day-to-day cleaning. Bed-linen is provided, students are requested to bring their own towels. Apartments are 10 - 15 minutes away.
