Sprachcaffe Düsseldorf is one of the two schools we have that offer German Courses. Düsseldorf is situated on the Rhine river and a grand place to learn German because it is host to so many captivating events, if you are considering German lessons in Germany.
Whether you're thinking of participating in an intensive course during your holidays, preparing for an exam, or just want to expand your knowledge base in a language, at our Düsseldorf School is a blast. German School in Düsseldorf
Geographical location: Our school consists of two buildings: a picturesque brick of the nineteenth century and modern classes with large and very bright. Both are located in a quiet area of the center, surrounded by gardens. The historic city center is at a distance of 10 minutes' walk from the school.
Inside our school: Our school has 17 classes, modern and spacious classrooms, reception, library, cafeteria, internet access and a common study room.
Learning material: Our teachers use different materials and educational resources in their classes, therefore, students are benefiting from a variety of exercises, approaches and texts. Also students who may wish to borrow books from the library to strengthen the study.
Extracuricular activities: Our school offers various activities for after school and enjoy the oportudinades of Düsseldorf. If you want to be able to tour the region, visiting the museums of the city and of course enjoy the charms of this beautiful city in Germany.
Düsseldorf German Courses
The courses are held from Monday to Friday: educational material on loan will be given during class. There are no classes during holidays.
Our teachers: Our teachers are all native speakers, highly qualified and have an academic education. After the lessons, they are available to give advice and assistance on any problems with the language and to awnser questions about local cultural and sporting events. They may spend their free time with our guests and, of course, for students taking a business language course, they will provide special materials for class.
Teaching method: Our teaching method is based on the "principle of conversation" because the study of language should be aimed mainly at putting into practice the grammatical and lexical aspects of the language:
Lessons: The class is based essentially on the principle of conversation. This is achieved through intensive training in structured role-play, guided dialogs, audio-listening and reading cultural, social, and political essays and articles related to the host country.
Certificate: At the end of the course each student will receive a certificate attesting to the number of lessons taken and the language level achieved.

PRIVATE INSTRUCTION: One-to-one language training is the quickest and most intensive way to learn a language or to improve your language skills. The format of the lessons is totally determined by the needs and desires of the student. The hours of this course are flexible which makes it possible to book such a course together with another course option.
This course is also ideal as a tutoring or support course to focus on problem areas. You decide the number of daily lessons: two, four or six. All aspects of the language are taught in as short a time possible without being overly demanding.

ACADEMIC LANGUAGE COURSE: The Academic Term / Exam Preparation Course at Sprachcaffe / Language PLUS is structured similar to the Standard Language Course, however the goals and objectives are structured for long term study. Thus it is ideal for students who which to attain a more in-depth and continuous study of the language and also for those interested in sitting for any of the major language exams, such as the PET, FCE, CAE, CPE, TOEFL, DELE, DELF, DALF, CILS and DSH. The examination fees are not included in the course price and students have to pay extra for materials.
Completing an Academic Term at Sprachcaffe / Language PLUS will help earn important qualifications and is perfect for those seeking the challenges and goals of meeting university entrance requirements.

In Düsseldorf we offer two types of accommodation, you may choose the option that suits you best depending on your needs. In all the options you can relate to people, either with natives, in the case of families, or with other students, so you can practice what has been studied in class.
HOST FAMILY IN DÜSSELDORF
Sprachcaffe carefully selects it's host families based on a number of criteria. Staying with a family enables you to practice what you learn in class and learn firsthand about the culture and customs of the people of Düsseldorf. You will receive a single room with breakfast or half board.
